Elite Model Look (EML), the world's largest and most renowned modelling contest, was launched in 1983 with the aim of discovering fresh new faces from across the globe. It is a fun event married to a serious goal that is to have a girl's unique beauty evaluated in person by industry leaders who know the demands of today's fashion industry.
EML is a unique opportunity for a girl to be discovered and to realise her dreams.
National EML events are held in over 50 countries. The winner of each national final proceeds to the international final event which is held over ten days at a new location each year - the last few being in Tangiers, Shanghai, Singapore, Marrakech, Lhasa ( Tibet ) and Prague.
The list of modeling stars whose careers began with EML reads like a 'who's who' of the industry - from current cover girls like Alessandra Ambrosio, Gisele Bundchen, Irina Bondarenko, Natalia Semanova and Yfke Sturm to the original supermodels of the 80's - Cindy Crawford, Karen Mulder, Stephanie Seymour and Nadja Auermann to name a few.
